Warranty Claims

If you believe you have a warranty claim, simply fill out the form in the link above and include all information associated with the claim.  Once your claim is reviewed, we will be replying to you through the email address you provide on the form, so make sure everything is entered correctly to ensure you get a reply.  Keep in mind that sometimes our warranty emails will end up in your spam folder, so be sure to check there as well when waiting on a reply.

Parts Problem

If you have a specific part problem Redcat Racing will determine if the issue in question is covered under warranty and will contact you within 3 business days after form submission. If determined that the part or parts are covered under warranty, Redcat will send you the part(s) at no charge. We may ask for photos or that some parts to be returned prior to sending out replacement parts.

Vehicle Problem

If you have a vehicle problem, please fill out the warranty claim form.  Be very descriptive as to what the problem seems to be, and list any details about what troubleshooting has been done to try and get to the bottom of the problem.  If you spoke to someone through email or over the phone, please list their name so we can get more information before asking questions you may have already answered.

Since these are hobby grade vehicles, the vehicles are intended to be worked on by the customer (even in warranty situations in which we send out parts to be replaced).  In rare situations will we accept the vehicle to be sent back to our shop for evaluation or repair, but you must have approval to do so before shipping your items to us.  The customer is responsible for shipping the vehicle to us, and if deemed to be covered under warranty, we will cover the parts, labor, and shipping back to you.  If not covered under warranty, Redcat reserves the right to refuse to service the vehicle and the customer will be responsible for the purchase of any parts, as well as the shipping charges to have the items sent back.

Items Not Covered

  • Drive train and suspension parts
  • Gears including spur, clutch-bell and others
  • Clutch & Clutch Spring
  • Pull Start

General Warranty Information

Warranties are only valid if the items were purchased from an Authorized Redcat Racing Dealer.

These warranties cover defects with the materials, workmanship, or assembly at factory only. All replacement parts and warranty approvals are at the sole discretion of Redcat Racing.

These warranties do not cover breakage due to abuse, improper break-in, improper setup, or improper operation.

Redcat does not accept any returns if fuel has been put into the vehicle or if the vehicle has been used in any way. New item returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee and all returned items must first receive a return merchandise number from Redcat prior to shipment.

If the item was purchased from a Redcat reseller, the return must be handled through them directly and they may have different policies regarding returns.
